This is Georgia. She is strong and smart and kind and creative and sweet and fun and funny. 

We shot her senior photo session in June, and there were nightly protests in Milwaukee. When we saw this sign up at the Pabst, we knew what we had to do. 
 

We also shot part of her senior session at the rooftop sculpture garden at MSOE, which is awesome! She’s an artist, so it was a perfect location for her.

They are on the spot, the center of attention, expected to look great and be comfortable with someone they may have never met. That’s a lot of pressure.

I think Camdyn felt that way when we started her senior photo shoot. We may have been about 5 minutes in when she decided this wasn’t going to be so bad, it might just be fun, and by the time I left, we were fast friends.

As you can see by her photos, she had nothing to fear, except maybe when I had her climb into the koi pond (she was a GREAT sport!). What a great person, and what a lovely family, too!

We shot her session at a beautiful former pheasant farm that has been in her family for generations.

Senior sessions are about so much more than the yearbook photo. Yes, that is an important part, and it's what most people will see. You definitely want to make sure you nail that pic! But your senior photo shoot is more about who you are right now. Seniors are at such a special time in their lives. This jumping off point where anything is possible. Your senior portrait session is the opportunity to tell your story!
Choose a location that speaks to you, or that you love visiting. Wear your favorite clothes. Share with your photographer what is important to you, so they can incorporate that into your session. And most importantly (and I know it sounds cheesy, but...), relax and have fun! 



Jack's senior session started in Cedarburg. We walked around and took advantage lots of great spots we have downtown. There are so many!

He was, uh, obviously, very comfortable with the whole thing.  He drove us to our last location...how could I not capture this??  We choose to wrap up his shoot at a golf course that his family has gone to since he was little. Perfect to catch the last rays of the sun!

This was such a fun senior session! Julia is an amazingly talented dancer. It's part of who she is, and dancing is something she loves. We wanted to highlight that in her senior photo shoot. She is super comfortable in front of the camera, and it really shows in her photos (it helps that she's my niece and i've been shooting her since she was born :)).
